Why Stewart's Equipment
From day one back in 1955, operating out of a small single-bay garage in the quiet town of Ospringe, Ed Stewart had a vision. To provide the local agricultural community with the service and support needed to get the work done. Stewart’s Equipment started small but didn’t take long to start growing. Eventually the humble service shop turned into a full blown dealership, selling equipment as well as servicing the local fleet of machinery. Well known as the local hangout in the farming community, Ed’s sense of fun, paired with his never ending commitment to great service kept the customers returning.
To this day, 68 years later and counting, Ed’s sons Jeff & Randy have continued to grow the dealership while maintaining the core values and great service customers have come to expect from Stewart’s Equipment. In 2021, they saw an opportunity to expand the Kubota brand in the Simcoe area. With no local dealership to service the county, Stewart’s Equipment invested the time and money to start a brand new dealership, from the ground up, to service the hard working folks in the area. The Stewart’s Equipment Simcoe store is up and running on all cylinders these days and able to fill all your Kubota needs from machine service to parts and everything in between.
More recently in 2022, the opportunity presented itself for Stewart’s Equipment to expand into a new region, this time with a pre-existing dealership, formerly Earth Power, located in Stayner. The existing staff have done a tremendous job getting into the new “routine” and have continued providing excellent service and parts to all current and new customers.
