The Custom Edition LETSDIG18 - Progressive Link Hydraulic Thumb provides more constant pressure throughout the entire cylinder range. The thumb achieves more than 180 degree rotation which makes it easy to reach and pick up objects that are close to your excavator. The extra linkage expands the thumb’s reach across the bucket’s entire rotation, including at full roll out. This provides superior material handling, which improves machine productivity.

Features may include:

FULL BUCKET ROTATION
  • When reaching up to grab branches, or debris, the thumb will grab at full rotation. The extra linkage gives the thumb greater than 180-degrees which allows you to touch the ground with the thumb closer to the machine compared to a stick-pivot thumb.
SPHERICAL BUSHINGS
  • The rotating eye in the cylinder's connection points allows the cylinder to pivot and always extend in a straight line regardless of uneven torsion/stress. This prevents the cylinder seals from breaking.
CUSHIONING CYLINDER
  • At each end of the cylinder's stroke, the ram automatically slows down to prevent jolting action which improves operator comfort and prevents premature wear and tear on the machine.
LOAD HOLD VALVE
  • When the thumb is not in use and tucked up against the stick, the load-holding valve locks in pressure which prevents the thumb from creeping down.
